Working With David Eichenberg David and I met at the University of Toledo and shared several classes. As we worked on projects together I admired his work, technique and mind set, and we always seemed to be on the same page. In keeping in touch I asked David if he would like to work on a piece with me and he graciously agreed. I then amended the request with, "It's got to be a cowboy". I found a sketch I had done of a young gun with a cocky smirk on his face that brought to mind the image of "Billy the Kid". I showed the sketch to David and he was excited to begin; what a guy. We worked on the piece individually in our studios until completion. The images to the right show the progression of the painting. CLICK ON PHOTOS TO ADVANCE |
